Bethan Gray is a distinguished British designer celebrated for her luxury handcrafted furniture and home accessories that seamlessly blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Born in Cardiff to a Scottish father and a Welsh mother, her maternal lineage traces back to a nomadic Rajasthani clan, a heritage that profoundly influences her work. This rich cultural background fuels her curiosity about global art and culture, inspiring her to travel extensively across India, Asia, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and South America. 

In 2008, after a decade-long tenure as Design Director at Habitat, Bethan established her own studio, Bethan Gray Design. Her collections are renowned for their bold patterns and intricate detailing, often drawing inspiration from the natural and built environments she explores. Collaborating with master craftsmen, she brings cultural stories to life through her designs, creating pieces that are both decorative and functional. 

Notable collections include the Shamsian line, inspired by Omani architecture and craftsmanship, and the Exploring Eden series, which utilizes innovative materials in collaboration with Nature Squared. Each collection embodies her commitment to storytelling through design, resulting in timeless pieces that resonate with a global audience.
