Who is Eichholtz?

Eichholtz began in the 90s, when during a trip to China, Theo Eichholtz – the company’s founder – fell in love with Chinese colonial furniture. Since then, the company has established itself as one of the most well-known and well-reputed luxury furniture brands. 

Although, the company is famous for their entire furniture collection, but we’re most drawn to their exquisite lighting collecting. Their range has a unique quality to it, with forms crafted in opposing angles, using mixed materials, and playing with levels. The end result is an undeniably contemporary collection that is incomparable.

Rhapsody Room: Cassini Chandelier

The Cassini chandelier is a truly remarkable piece of design. Crafted with an antique brass finish, the light is distributed across four rings, three of which are moveable by way of hinges. Usefully, the rings can be adjusted as you wish, to direct the light in any direction that requires it.

The light is free from embellishment – its unique form is interesting enough – which makes it a malleable light fixture. Due to its minimalistic brass finish, the chandelier would suit a wide range of interiors – you could fix it above a rich wooden table, in the middle of a traditional living space to add a contrasting contemporary touch, or you could hang it amongst other products with metal detailing, to unify the space.
