WOW House Collaboration 2024
We are thrilled to unveil a collaboration that epitomizes luxury and refinement: the partnership between Lauren Stonnell, CEO of Chase Erwin, and Andrea Benedettini, Director of Andrea Benedettini Interiors, for the prestigious Wow House event. This grand event, set to run from June 4th to June 30th, promises to be a spectacular convergence of opulence and design innovation. With Lauren's visionary leadership and Andrea's artistic flair, this collaboration is poised to deliver an unparalleled aesthetic experience.

Introduction
The partnership between Chase Erwin and Andrea Benedettini Interiors is a harmonious blend of creativity and expertise, cultivated over years of successful collaborations. Lauren fondly recalls Andrea as a key specifier, whose discerning eye for detail and passion for luxurious fabrics have been instrumental in numerous high-profile projects, including his own sumptuous London apartment. This enduring relationship has not only fostered mutual respect but also a deep understanding of each other's design philosophies, culminating in the creation of a truly unique library space for Wow House.
“We use only the finest fabrics to make our upholstery, defining the ultimate luxury interior.”
The Concept
The library space, sponsored by Chase Erwin, is a masterpiece of innovation and theatrical elegance. Drawing inspiration from Andrea's illustrious background as a ballet dancer, the concept seamlessly integrates elements of theatre and ballet to craft an immersive and enchanting environment. The choice of ultra-suede fabric for the drapery, reminiscent of the opulent curtains of a grand theatre, provides both visual splendour and acoustic harmony. Visitors will be enveloped in a cocoon of sophistication, experiencing a space where every detail exudes luxury and artistry.
The furniture and decor are designed to embody the graceful movements of dance. Each piece, from the wave-shaped coffee table to the elegantly curved chairs, is a celebration of fluidity and organic form. The furniture does not merely occupy space but enhances it, creating an environment that feels both dynamic and serene. The use of soft, flowing lines and gentle curves ensures that the space is as comfortable as it is beautiful, inviting visitors to linger and absorb the atmosphere.

Colour Palette
The colour palette, rich in earthy tones yet maintaining a serene neutrality, reflects a deep connection to nature and a commitment to understated luxury. The subtle references to ballet, particularly Swan Lake, are woven throughout the design, creating a space that is both visually stunning and emotionally resonant. The fabric selection is equally thoughtful, with a palette inspired by nature’s earthy tones, subtly enhanced with hints of luxurious colour.
The chosen fabrics, from rich neutrals to vibrant saffron, are layered to create a sense of depth and warmth, perfectly complementing the overall design ethos. This harmonious blend of textures and hues speaks to the enduring appeal of Chase Erwin’s collections, which seamlessly integrate the classic with the contemporary.
“Having worked with The Sofa & Chair Company for a long time, I trust that they will deliver fantastic handcrafted pieces that have a slight contemporary and modern outlook, which marries really well with our design ethos." - Andrea Benedettini

Sustainability at the Heart
In the creation of the Wow House library space, sustainability is not just an afterthought but a core principle woven into every aspect of the design.
Chase Erwin is renowned for its commitment to sustainability, working closely with artisanal mills across Europe. Many of these mills are located in Italy, Andrea’s homeland, adding a personal touch to the collaboration. Lauren Steno proudly emphasizes, “We source our fabrics with great care, ensuring they come from certified mills committed to sustainable practices. Our collections are curated with a conscious approach, mindful of both environmental impact and luxurious quality.”
A key aspect of this sustainable approach is the preference for natural fabrics, boasting a composition of 75% or higher in natural fibres. This choice not only enhances the tactile experience—providing a much nicer handle—but also reduces the need for additional treatments, aligning with eco-friendly practices.
We are on the same commitment path towards sustainability. The timber frames used in all our upholstery pieces are sustainably sourced from European forests. This meticulous sourcing ensures that each piece of furniture not only exudes elegance and sophistication but also adheres to the highest standards of environmental stewardship.
