Created by the team behind The Sofa & Chair Company and now its exclusive stockist, Larkbury London is the home of the world’s leading luxury interior design brands, offering exceptional service and expertise to discerning design professionals and enthusiasts alike.

As a trusted name within the design community, we understand that truly unique projects deserve equally extraordinary pieces. That’s why our bespoke and made-to-order pieces have found their place in some of the most prestigious postcodes around the world. Each handmade item reflects the skill and artistry of our team of craftsmen, who have honed their expertise over decades of experience in the industry.

A Seamless Transition with No Disruptions

Uninterrupted Order Fulfillment: All existing and new orders, including those with deposits or full payments, will proceed as scheduled, with some benefiting from faster delivery times.

Seamless Trade Account Continuity: Customers and partners will experience no disruptions in their trade accounts, with all accounts and order histories automatically migrated to the new company structure.

Showroom & Manufacturing Operations Remain Open: The company's showroom and manufacturing facility at Western Avenue Business Park, London, continue to operate as usual, offering a luxurious 60,000 sq. ft. space for clients to explore.

Bespoke Furniture

The Sofa & Chair Company provides an exclusive bespoke furniture service that runs from initial concept through to the delivery of your unique piece. Working from your sketches or ideas, our designers can create any piece of furniture that is tailored to your exact wishes.

We also provide CAD technical drawings to confirm all specifications before creation; with property access checks and measurement services regularly carried out to ensure bespoke pieces are made to measure and beyond expectations.

Our London Gallery

All under one roof

Our West London Showroom is the largest in the UK and offers over 140 different room-sets for customers to discover and be inspired by. Our heritage comes from bespoke upholstery manufacturing, we have been making luxury sofas and chairs in our London workshop for almost 16 years.

We invite customers to choose their upholstery from our London fabric library, the largest of its kind in Europe, or request the procurement of an external fabric of their choice allowing clients to select the perfect materials that suits their taste and lifestyle.

Our expert craftsmen use traditional techniques, combined with innovative designs, to create furniture that is not only worthy of a place in the most beautiful of spaces but also long-lasting.

Built from sustainably sourced FSC-certified beech wood frames and handcrafted by a team of skilled artisans, every piece we create is a testament to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Khushal Ahmed’s journey from a 13-year-old tailor in Afghanistan to the visionary founder of The Sofa & Chair Company is a testament to relentless ambition and resilience. Arriving in the UK with just £20 and no English, he taught himself the art of furniture making from the ground up, driven by an unwavering passion for craftsmanship and design. In 2006, he launched his business with a single handmade sofa and a belief that quality and simplicity would set him apart.

Today, he leads The Larkbury Group, a collection of luxury design companies rooted in excellence, innovation, and customer service. Khushal's story is one of bold decisions, humble beginnings, and an unshakable belief in building something extraordinary through hard work and vision.
